New photovoltaic system for a more sustainable production
Investment in the San Vito plant
MaterMacc is looking to the future with an investment in the San Vito plant for more sustainable production.
The work to install the new photovoltaic system has been completed. A total of 400 modules have been installed on the roof of Building C - one of MaterMacc's three production halls - with a total output of 220 kWp.
The work carried out will bring the San Vito plant to an estimated energy autonomy of around 70%.
In addition to these important works, MaterMacc has replaced the internal lighting system, which has been converted from neon to LED, resulting in a 54% reduction in electricity consumption for lighting.
MaterMacc has thus initiated a positive process of efficient energy management, making the consumption and management of the facility more competitive and saving the environment tons of carbon dioxide and 38.06 tons of oil equivalent (TOE) annually.
