Interconnectivity between MaterMacc and Elcos controllers for greater functionality and performance
MaterMacc srl, a company specialising in the design and production of precision pneumatic seeders, inter-row weeding machines and electronic equipment for the control and management of agricultural irrigation machinery, and the company Elcos srl, for 50 years a specialist in the production of control units, remote monitoring systems for generating sets, on irrigation motor pumps and fire-fighting units, are starting a collaboration aimed at making their irrigation control units talk to each other with the aim of gaining access to greater functionality and providing an even better service to their customers.
Which controllers are involved?
CEM-19x and CIM-19x by Elcos
A family of control units that performs the function of manual and automatic control and command of an irrigation motor pump unit both locally and remotely, via APP or via SMS.
The graphic display allows easy management of all functions, such as motor and pump fault control, cavitation and pump priming control, display of water delivered and instantaneous flow, storage of operating history, and many others.
The ECUs can be installed on motor pumps with both mechanical diesel engines and electronic injection engines equipped with STAGE III, STAGE IV final and STAGE V type ECUs.
Irrigamatic NET from MaterMacc
Applicable on self-propelled, turbine, pneumatic, internal combustion engine or hydraulic retracting sprinklers, it is a control unit that stands out for its applied electronics designed to make irrigation systems high-performance.
Irrigamatic Net, the latest control unit from the Friuli-based manufacturer to meet the most modern requirements of Agriculture 4.0, allows remote management of the sprinkler. Thanks to the connection with the MM Connecta APP - compatible with all Android and IoS systems, tablets, smartphones, Ipads, Iphones and smart TVs - all operations can be carried out from the comfort of home.

What is the real advantage of working in combination? The possibility of managing a sprinkler with incorporated motor pump even remotely through the use of a single application that reads the data of both installed control units.
In fact, the exchange of data in real time is managed by the MaterMacc Irrigamatic Net control unit, which allows reading from the MM Connecta web app not only of the MaterMacc control unit but also of the Elcos combined control unit for an enrichment of the information transmitted, which translates, among others, into:
- Start-up cycle and adjustment of the engine according to the set watering programme (start-up date/time, working point setting)
- Remote verification of main engine operating parameters (rpm, temperature, fuel level, oil pressure, alarms)
It also saves the user money by using only one APP.
